What kinds of projects are you looking for?
I’m interested in working with organizations who are seeking a collaborative creative leader to build their brand from the ground up. I love to join teams early on and support across all touch-points—from brand naming and identity to art direction and packaging dielines. I have a special love for all things food + drink, and am interested in more projects in this space, as well as in beauty, CPG, and the arts.
What makes your work unique?
I'm a designer by trade, but a writer and scientist at heart (in fact, I studied neuroscience before going into graphic design!) As such, my process is deeply grounded in a holistic and idea-driven approach. My deep knowledge of design history and visual culture also allows me to create work that touches on motifs from the past while also considering the contemporary landscape quite deeply.
What does your creative process look like?
What I love about being an independent designer is that my process is always changing! Every client is different and I think it's important to be flexible to meet the needs of my collaborators. Some folks come to me with moodboards and spreadsheets, and others with just a big idea. I like to think of my process as one thats rooted in support, research, and guidance—all in the service of helping my clients articulate and meet their needs.
