What kinds of projects are you looking for?
I'm looking to work with creative directors, brands and studios that have a strong sensibility for design. This is where I find I'm able to produce the most exciting work.
What makes your work unique?
My diverse background spans multiple disciplines, encompassing industrial design, graphic design, art direction, and film. This unique blend equips me with a comprehensive understanding of creative processes and a nuanced approach to contextualizing high-quality content. By seamlessly integrating insights from various artistic realms, I bring a holistic perspective to my work, fostering innovation and ensuring a dynamic and effective creative output.
What does your creative process look like?
To begin with, I like to outline the objectives and constraints associated with a project. From here, it's about understanding the visual language and context of the brand or product. Clarifying this early on ensures I deliver worthy creative solutions.
Before any of the exciting work can get underway, quality models will need to be produced to ensure form, scale, texture, materiality, and colours are accurately represented.
They'll then need to exist in a scene. The scene can be thought of as the virtual environment surrounding the object. This is where the magic happens, so most of my time is spent adjusting and fine-tuning these elements to ensure a technically and aesthetically satisfying image.
After the composition is complete, additional camera positions can be set up, along with subject variations. Finally, the rendered content follows the traditional post-production workflow of editing, grading, compositing, and exporting.
Production with CG is pretty mind-blowing. Our efforts are focused solely on what's in front of the camera, and we can capture and reiterate dynamic content that would be nearly impossible to shoot on set.
